How does the movers and shakers tool work?
It takes three kinds of input:
- Best Sellers and New Releases links from 11 Amazon stores. The store comes from the link.
- Movers & Shakers, Most Wished For and Gift Ideas links, which the tool turns into the same category's Best Sellers list, because Amazon shows those lists empty.
- Product types, like air fryer or yoga mat. The tracker searches amazon.com, reads the Best Sellers Rank of the top results and opens the category most of them rank in.
Every lookup saves the list it read, and the next lookup of that list shows how far each product moved and which products are new in the top 10. Sellers use it to spot rising products in their category, and buyers and researchers to see what is gaining sales right now.
What information does each result include?
The bulk API returns one row per ranked product with these fields, plus a summary record for each list. The free tool above shows the rank, rank change, title, price, rating and number of ratings from the same rows.

Is this Amazon movers and shakers tool free?
Yes. Lookups on this page are free and return the top 10 products, with a small daily limit per visitor. Bulk runs go through the Amazon Bestsellers Rank Tracker on Apify at $4 per 1,000 ranked products on Apify's Free plan, or $3.60 per 1,000 on Gold and above, plus $0.005 for each list compared with an earlier run.
Why are Amazon's Movers & Shakers pages empty?
Since spring 2026, Amazon's Movers & Shakers pages say "Sorry, there are no movers and shakers available in this category", and its Most Wished For and Gift Ideas lists show no products either. Best Sellers and New Releases still list the top 100 in every category, so this tool reads those and works out which products moved.
How are the rank changes worked out?
Every lookup saves the list it read. The next lookup of the same list, by you or anyone else, compares with that saved copy and shows how many places each product moved and which products are new in the top 10. The bulk tracker also gives the change as a percentage, the measure Amazon used for Movers & Shakers (moving from rank 30 to rank 10 is +200%).
Which Amazon stores does it cover?
Best Sellers and New Releases links from amazon.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .ca, .co.jp, .in, .com.mx and .com.au. A product type you type is matched to a category on amazon.com; the bulk tracker can match product types on all 11 stores.
Why do some products show no price?
The lists are read from US servers. On Amazon stores outside the US, a product that doesn't ship to the US shows no price to US visitors, so its price is left empty. Rank, title, rating and reviews are always filled.
Is it legal to scrape Amazon Best Sellers?
The tracker reads only the public Best Sellers pages that anyone can see without signing in. Amazon's terms restrict automated access, so check that your use complies with the terms and laws that apply to you. You are responsible for how you use the results.
